Transactional Analysis

Central to the philosophy of Transactional Analysis (TA) is the fundamental worth of all human beings. Transactional Analysis also embraces valuing and respecting others, indicated by the expression ‘I’m OK, You’re OK’.

TA works on the basis that each person is responsible for themselves and is capable of changing how they think, feel and behave. TA gives you a way to understand how you interact with other people, which, together with a theory of personality, can be used to help you make the changes you want.

Through discussion, I will develop an understanding of what you would like to achieve and together we will work towards reaching those goals. If you are motivated and your goals are realistic, your desired changes can be made, enabling you to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
